Sheets, rods, tubes, films over 50 plastic types in over 500 dimensions in stock Customer consignment stock Custom cutting to size

Semi-finished plastics are the prefabricated raw materials for every further step: sheets, solid and hollow rods, tubes and films. We keep over 50 plastic types in over 500 dimensions in stock, from standard industrial plastics through engineering materials to high-performance polymers, supplied as full sheets or cut to size. For customers with recurring demand we set up consignment stock so the material is available exactly when it is needed.

Our Materials
Sawing to measure All common plastics Small to large quantities Fast delivery times

Precise cutting from all common semi-finished plastics, sawn to your finished dimension. Whether single piece, small quantity or large series: we cut sheets, rods and tubes to size so you only pay for and store the material you actually need. Short lead times and the economical use of offcuts make our cutting service the fast link between warehouse and production.

3- to 5-axis machining Tolerances ±0.02 mm Thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers From lot size 1

Using modern CNC milling machines we machine your parts in 3- to 5-axis technology with the highest precision, ideal for complex geometries and series production. We mill thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers and reliably achieve tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Production starts at lot size 1, from prototype and single part to running series.

Ø 2–500 mm POM, PEEK, PA6, PET, PVC Rods & tubes From lot size 1

For turned parts of the highest precision we machine diameters from 2 to 500 mm out of rods and tubes. Common materials include POM, PEEK, PA 6, PET and PVC, plus the entire remaining range of plastics. We guarantee exact dimensional accuracy and produce from lot size 1, for small and large series alike.

CO₂ laser: cutting PMMA, acrylic, POM, PC, PE, PP Clean edges, no post-processing Laser engraving & marking

With the CO₂ laser we cut precisely and cleanly, with a polished cut edge and without post-processing. Suitable materials are PMMA and acrylic, POM, PC, PE, PP and other plastics as well as wood. The technique allows delicate designs with the smallest corner radii, quickly and economically. In addition we laser-engrave and mark parts for identification, logos and personalisation, on request as an express engraving.

SLS, FDM, MJF, SLA, Polyjet Department founded 2020 Prototypes to small series Overnight service possible

Our 3D printing department has existed since 2020 and covers FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF and Polyjet, from prototypes to small series, with overnight service on request. The focus is the FDM process using PA66 with carbon fibre: light, strong, abrasion resistant, temperature resistant to around 190 °C, with a low friction coefficient and low moisture absorption. Typical parts are workpiece and assembly fixtures, workpiece carriers, palletising fixtures, hinges, levers, sensor brackets, housings and wear parts. This makes spare parts quickly available and keeps downtime short.

Waterjet without heat input Punching of plastic parts Polishing, bending, folding For sensitive materials

Waterjet cutting works without heat input and therefore without material distortion, suitable for sensitive and complex parts made of plastics, metals and composites. With modern punching machines we produce exact parts from sheets, strips and coil, particularly economical in series. In addition we offer polishing for high-quality surfaces as well as folding, bending and forming, for example for hoods, covers and machine guards made of acrylic.

Series production from lot 1 Ø 2–80 mm diameter POM, PEEK, PA, PET, PVC High repeat accuracy

Automatic turned parts are the economical solution for series production of high-precision turned components. On our automatic lathes parts are produced fast, repeatably and at low unit cost, with consistent quality across the entire batch. This pays off wherever functional precision parts are needed in larger quantities.

Our Material Spectrum

From standard plastics to high-performance materials for aerospace and medical technology – we carry the full spectrum and provide expert advice.

Liedtke material range: semi-finished plastics as rods, tubes and sheets Request Materials Info

Aluminium composite panels bond two thin aluminium facing sheets to a plastic core, creating a lightweight, flat and flexurally rigid panel material. Dibond, Alucobond, ALUCOM and Aluverbundplatte differ mainly in facing thickness and manufacturer range, but are technically closely related. We saw, mill, drill, punch and fold these panels to precise dimensions from a drawing or on-site measurements for facades, signage, exhibition stands and interior fit-out. With a PE core they are normally flammable (building material class B2); for higher fire-protection requirements we advise on suitable alternatives.

Amorphous thermoplastics are versatile, easy to form and in many cases optically clear. PMMA (Plexiglas) works as a glass replacement thanks to its clarity and weather resistance, PVC offers high chemical resistance and easy processing. ABS and SAN are impact resistant and dimensionally stable, typical for housings and visible parts. We machine these materials into covers, sight glasses, tank components and prototypes. Note: amorphous plastics tend to stress cracking under heat, so we work with sharp tools and adapted cutting parameters.

Standard plastics with low density, high chemical resistance and very good sliding properties. PE 1000 (UHMW-PE) is the classic choice for wear strips, guides and wear protection, PE-HD is proven in tank and apparatus construction, PP in chemically loaded plants and piping. All four machine extremely well but are comparatively soft and expand noticeably under heat. For tight tolerances we account for swelling and shrinkage behaviour.

Amorphous engineering materials combine high strength with impact resistance and dimensional stability. PC (Makrolon) is virtually unbreakable and transparent, the first choice for protective screens, sight windows and machine guards. PETG forms and bonds well, PPE and PSU offer higher temperature resistance and hydrolysis stability. When machining we pay particular attention to stress cracking: controlled heat removal and annealing of the stock where required.

The workhorses of mechanical precision: high stiffness, excellent abrasion resistance and good sliding properties. POM is the standard for gears, plain bearings and guide elements and comes in two variants, the particularly dimensionally stable copolymer POM-C and the stronger homopolymer POM-H. PA 6 is tougher and more damping, as cast polyamide PA 6 G also available in large dimensions and thick sections, as PA 6 FR with flame retardancy to EN 45545-2 for rail applications. PET and PBT complete the field wherever tight tolerances and low moisture absorption matter.

Amorphous high-performance materials for continuous use at high temperatures, sterilisable and hydrolysis resistant. PEI (Ultem) is inherently flame retardant and highly dimensionally stable, PPSU withstands hundreds of steam sterilisation cycles without embrittlement, PES and PSU are chemically robust and semi-transparent. Typical fields are medical technology, aircraft interiors, analytics and food technology. These materials react sensitively to internal stresses, so we anneal stock and parts for tight tolerances.

For applications where temperature, chemistry and continuous mechanical load are demanding at the same time. PEEK is the metal replacement of high-performance engineering, loadable up to around 250 °C continuously, inherently flame retardant to UL 94 V-0 and sterilisable. PTFE stands for almost complete chemical inertness and the lowest friction coefficient of all plastics, PVDF for purity and resistance in chemical and semiconductor technology, PPS for dimensional stability under heat. These materials are considerably more expensive than engineering plastics, so we advise in advance which parts genuinely require them.

Glass fibre reinforced thermosets are hard, dimensionally stable and excellent electrical insulators, even under heat. HGW (laminated fabric) and epoxy-based EP-GC are used for circuit board carriers, transformer and switchgear components, insulating strips and thermal separation plates. Unlike thermoplastics they cannot be reformed, only machined. Milling and drilling produce abrasive dust, so we work with carbide and diamond tooling and dedicated extraction.

Flexible materials for seals, buffers and vibration damping. PUR (Vulkollan) achieves the highest wear resistance under dynamic load, FKM (Viton) is chemically resistant and suitable for high temperatures, NBR performs against oils and fuels, EPDM against weathering and ozone, silicone across a very wide temperature range. Elastomers are not machined in the classic sense but cut, punched or waterjet cut. We supply mouldings, strips and mats to drawing. Under the umbrella of cellular polyurethane damping elastomers we also stock Cellasto (microcellular PUR by BASF) and Sylomer (Getzner) as spring, bump-stop and vibration-isolation elements, for example in vehicle suspensions as well as in rail, construction and mechanical engineering.

Micro-carbon-fibre-filled and unreinforced polyamide for FDM 3D printing, complementing our classic machining. Onyx combines high stiffness with an excellent surface finish and can be combined with continuous fibre reinforcement, Onyx FR is additionally flame retardant to UL94 V-0, and Onyx ESD is static dissipative for use in electronics manufacturing. Nylon White is the economical, unreinforced entry-level material with high toughness. We print functional prototypes, fixtures and small batches right in-house.

For laser engraving we offer a wide range of plastic, acrylic and metal engraving materials: two-layer laminates where the laser engraves through a coloured top layer down to a contrasting core, as well as coated aluminium, brass and stainless steel sheets for durable nameplates and control-panel labelling. The materials differ in construction, colour combination and application — from economical standard materials to weather-resistant grades for outdoor use. We are happy to advise on the right choice for your labelling or identification task.
