Overview
What is ECP?
ECP is a two-layer engraving material on a polystyrene base. It follows the same working principle as other two-layer engraving materials with an ultra-thin cap layer, but is built on polystyrene rather than ABS or acrylic, making it an economical option within the range.

Construction and Working Principle
As with other two-layer engraving materials, a thin cap layer sits on a contrasting core layer. Because the cap layer is made very thin, it can be removed finely by the laser without a shadow effect. The polystyrene core sets ECP apart from ABS- or acrylic-based materials and makes it an economical alternative.
