What is Lasertec?
Lasertec is a multi-layer laminated plastic designed specifically for laser engraving. A UV-stable acrylic cap layer sits on a contrast-coloured base layer, so engraving cleanly reveals the colour underneath.

Construction and principle
Lasertec is based on acrylic glass pressed into a multi-layer laminate. During engraving, the laser removes the top colour layer and exposes the contrasting base colour beneath it, so no additional fill colour or inlay is required.
Lasertec sheets can be engraved, laser-cut and milled. Its properties make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
