What is Transacryl?
Transacryl is a two-layer acrylic glass designed for engraving from the reverse side. When the motif is engraved in mirror writing on the back, viewing it from the front creates a three-dimensional visual effect.

Construction and principle
Transacryl consists of two layers of acrylic glass. Engraving is carried out on the reverse side in mirror writing, so that the motif and lettering appear the right way round and with a spatial depth effect when viewed through the transparent material from the front.
Transacryl is processed by laser engraving. As the motif must be laid out mirrored, this needs to be taken into account when preparing the artwork.
