What is Lasertec 2-Ply?
Lasertec 2-Ply shares the basic construction of Lasertec but is built up from two differently coloured layers. Engraving or milling at two different depths reveals two contrasting colours without any need to fill or inlay the lettering afterwards.

Construction and principle
As with Lasertec, the base material is acrylic glass. The 2-Ply construction stacks two differently coloured layers. Controlling the engraving or milling depth determines which colour layer becomes visible at any given point.
Lasertec 2-Ply is processed by laser engraving, laser cutting and milling. Since the milling depth determines the colour result, the machining program should be set up accordingly.
