What is Transply?
Transply is a two-layer engraving material developed specifically for high-quality, fine laser engraving. A thin, coloured cap layer sits on a contrasting core layer – when the laser engraves through the cap layer, the core colour becomes visible, producing sharply defined lettering and symbols.

Construction and Working Principle
The material consists of a thin cap layer on a contrasting core layer. Because the cap layer is made especially thin, it can be removed by the laser almost without residue – even fine lettering stays clearly legible, without the shadow effect that thicker cap layers often produce.
Processing and Applications
Transply can be processed by both laser engraving and CNC routing. A double-sided engravable version is available on request.

Advantages
- Fine, crisply defined engraving results, even at small font sizes
Disadvantages
- For permanent outdoor use, the weather-resistant Transply HD version is the more suitable choice
