What is Alutec?
Alutec is an aluminum layer material with a three-layer construction that can be engraved on both sides. Its color build-up of brushed silver, black and brushed silver again creates a clear contrast when routed, with no need to fill the engraving afterwards.

Construction and processing
Alutec's three-layer construction – brushed silver on the outside, black at the core – means a routed engraving exposes the dark core layer and forms a clean contrast on its own. There is no need for any additional filling of the lettering.
Because both surfaces are engravable, Alutec can be labeled on both sides – for example for signs that need to be visible from two sides, or to mark the front and back differently.
Machining
Alutec is designed for routed engraving and can also be machined on CNC equipment. This makes it suitable both for individual identification plates and for series production with consistent precision.
