What is Alumamark?
Alumamark is an anodized aluminum whose anodized layer is specifically matched to marking with CO2 laser systems. Its distinguishing feature: the marking turns black at high quality during the engraving process itself – with no subsequent color fill or coating required.

What sets Alumamark apart
With many anodized aluminum materials, the quality of laser marking depends heavily on the laser type used and the process parameters. Alumamark is developed specifically for use with CO2 lasers and delivers a consistently strong black marking in a single processing step.
Because no post-treatment such as color filling or sealing is needed, the production process is noticeably shortened – an advantage particularly for larger quantities of nameplates or control elements.
- Marking created directly in the laser process, no extra step
- Optimized for CO2 laser systems
- Consistent contrast quality across the surface
